Popular Las Vegas Wedding Planner Ties the Knot at Cili

Published by

We recently hosted the wedding of Ada Casanova and Arnaud Masset, Ada is the Wedding Chapel Manager at Mandalay Bay and Arnaud is the Executive Sous Chef at Mandalay Bay.  It was wonderful to work with two individuals who really understand the business, both weddings and food!  The pressure was certainly on to make their day picture perfect, in my opinion, it could not have turned out better!

First of all the whole week had been hot and windy (seems like typical LV weather lately), and the day of their wedding the wind ceased and the temperature was a dreamy 85 degrees, perfect for a ceremony on Cili’s outdoor patio.  Ada looked AMAZING, one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot!  Her dress was incredible, her hair, her make-up, and her bouquet – gorgeous!

Ada went through similar problems that I had when I got married, we can envision the dream, and we are used to fulfilling those dreams for other brides, but when it is your own, you can’t be there the day of to supervise!  Other things need to be taken care of; hair, make-up, getting dressed, and taking pictures of how good we look all dressed up!  Ada didn’t need to worry, she had help from some fabulous vendors, I am sure they are the people she works with on a daily basis, but they took good care of her on her wedding day!

Her florist arrived around 10am and worked until the start of the wedding at 4:30pm!  The flowers were so amazing, all white, the most beautiful white roses I have ever seen, there were some hydrangeas, peonies (my favorite), and a few white tulips thrown in the mix.  Tall cylinder vases lined the ceremony, each held curly willow, more white roses, and hanging votives.  The guest table centerpieces featured clusters of glass cylinders with some funky round gels, candles, white roses, and white feathers, so cute!

The cake was amazing, but I would not expect anything less from the Pastry Chef’s at Mandalay Bay, Ada told them a few of her inspirations  and they came up with a masterpiece!  Her linens were a turquoise color with a gold overlay, she added gold chivari chairs with turquoise ties, all from Diahann Hall from by-dzign, they were stunning and looked like they belonged at this wedding!

Encore Productions provided a custom made gobo that illuminated on the wall, Shutterbooth provided the “favors” take home strips of photos, Cashman handled the photography and video, Adam from Knightsounds was the DJ, and the piano player from Mandalay Bay played for the ceremony and the cocktail reception.

Between Ada’s vision and the hard work of the vendors, it really turned out to be a magical day.
